Aluminum Rare Earth Master Alloy is a master alloy with aluminum (Al) as the matrix and rare earth elements (Re) as the alloying element, available in Re10 grade with 10% rare earth content. Supplied in two forms: waffle ingot (Waffle) and cast cut bar (CCB) — waffle ingots with standardized single-piece weight suit standardized batch batching and manual addition; CCB meets the continuous online addition requirements of automated casting and rolling production lines. Both forms facilitate storage, transportation, and use. Its core function is grain refinement and improving ductility (Grain refinement, improve ductility), with a recommended feed rate of 0.3%–1.5%.
[Key Advantages]
· Re10 grade with 10% rare earth content; uniform and stable composition with recommended feed rate of 0.3%–1.5% for precise control.
· Rare earth elements effectively refine as-cast grain structure, improving ductility and elongation, and enhancing forming performance and fatigue resistance.
· The purifying effect removes harmful impurities (hydrogen, oxide inclusions), improving melt cleanliness, product density, and mechanical property uniformity.
· Both waffle ingot and CCB forms are compatible with multiple alloy systems — waffle ingots for batch smelting, CCB for continuous casting-rolling online automatic addition, providing flexible material support.
[Product Uses]
· Core application: grain refinement, improve ductility; recommended feed rate 0.3%–1.5% — widely applied in aluminum cable, plate/strip, profiles, and cast alloy smelting; waffle ingot or CCB selected based on production process.
· In electrical aluminum alloys (1xxx high-conductivity series), reduces resistivity and improves conductivity; CCB form especially suited for online addition on continuous casting-rolling lines.
· Suitable for automotive lightweight aluminum sheet and profile production, refining grains and improving stamping formability at 0.3%–1.5%.
· Used for rare earth supplementation in recycled aluminum smelting, improving performance and product added value.
